She was named after me because I won her in a giveaway held by Louana from eleventh monkey. I was given the chance to choose the colours and I picked my favourites which were orange, pink and green. I must admit I wasn't too sure on how it would turn out but Louana and I were surprised it worked real well. The colours are so summery and Sal (the monkey - not me) looks cheery and ready for fun times in the summertime.
I got her the morning I was due to leave for Cornwall so I brought her along. I meant to take pictures of her outside in the garden but I was too pooped from the weekend and we stayed indoors most of the time and played monopoly. I took pictures of her in the car and in the train on our way back to Birmingham.

Sal seems to love being in England very much. I can't wait to take her out again! She's great fun! I wanted to do a "family potrait" with Stuart but he refused. Spoilsport.

ReplyDeleteSal the Monkey is just precious. What a wonderful win, and she is compact enough that you can take her places with you. I have a feeling she is going to be doing quite a bit of traveling. You need to get her a bannana made to take along in case she gets hungry.
