Unfortunately I don't normally take pictures when I am out, which is why I only have a few to show. Summer has been, well, not very summery lately. It was nice and hot for a week and now it has fast forwarded to autumn I feel. I hope it gets better soon cos I am getting pretty depressed! Come on sun!

70s shoot
Last couple of weeks I had the pleasure of working with Scott Harrison-Jones and his talented production arts team. It was a 70s shoot and a 1920s shoot.
I had so much fun wearing a long wig (never done that before), it was pretty heavy and big! I had to wear a scarf underneath just to make it fit, and the hat helped a bit with making it stay put.
I felt like Yoko Ono, but Stuart's dad said I looked like Kate Bush which is even better cos I love her. I haven't received the other images from the 1920s shoot yet but when I do I will be sure to share them :)
Hope everyone had a good easter and not feeling too ill from consuming too much chocolate!

Happy Easter!
Kate Upton for LOVE Magazine
If you are like me (someone who has no sense of discipline at all when it comes to chocolate), well, I am sure you must be regretting eating your chocolate eggs early this year. This is what simply happened to me. Stuart and I got our easter eggs quite early this year from his mum. So obviously I ate them, two weeks earlier than I should have had.
Am I kicking myself for it now? Yes.
Am I tempted to run out to the store and get myself one? Yes.
Will I do it? We shall see...if I can myself out of my PJs.
Enjoy Easter everyone! <3

busy busy busy
It has been a while since I last blogged. It has been such a busy week for me. A few modeling opportunities have turned up and I have been doing a few photoshoots for the past few days and more to come in the week as well. I thought I'd share some of them here to show that I have been productive and not been ignoring my blog intentionally.
Tomorrow will be a big day as I will be heading of to london for a casting. Very excited because if I get this it will mean good money. I hope this will boost up my career as a model and I won't have to carry on with my unglamorous side job (wishful thinking).
So fingers crossed! Wish me luck because I need it desperately!
I will be back soon to visit your blogs :)

Max Tan
Featuring Max Tan's newest collection Fall/Winter 2012/2013 in a short fashion film inspired by a Japanese folklore called " The Crane Wife"
Crane Wife from strangexperiments on Vimeo.
I love lookbooks, I think I spent far too much time watching them online. This one caught my eye because of its quirkiness and also because it's inspired by a Japanese folklore. It's the best one I have seen yet. What do you think?
You can read about Max Tan and see more of the Singapore-based designer here.
It's the weekend and unlike most people I will be at work instead spending it infront of the TV or going to the park. Boo!
Enjoy the weekend and for those of you who are in the UK, enjoy the sunny weather while it lasts!

Illustrator: Lauren Nassef
I've realised that I haven't been blogging about illustration for a while. The excitement of working with Fashnpolis and London Fashion Week has distracted me from
focusing on my first love, which is of course art. But then again fashion is a form of art no?
I stumbled upon Lauren Nassef on a friend's facebook page and it got me excited about drawing again. I love fashion illustration but recently although they are fantastic illustrations they didn't excite me as much. The styles are all quite similar to each other and after seeing one, you feel like you've seen them all.
Here are some of her work.
I love the one of Tavi and the yearbook one the most. Which ones do you like?
