Happy Sunday!

I have been watching this alot lately

and not only it makes me happy, it has also inspired me to do these things:

1. bake pies
2. open up a pie shop
3. eat pies
4. wear pretty dresses
5. to always look on the bright side (this is a challenge)
6. to believe in true love

okay the last bit is super cheesy but i wanna believe in it anyway :)

I am pretty serious about starting up a pie business though. Not necessarily just pies maybe a lil bakery selling all kinds of cakes and pastries too. Our (Stuart and mine) dream is to open up a fudge shop one day but now since I have discovered a new found love for baking I have decided to expand the idea into a full-blown bakery instead...fudge still included.

This is where you guys come in. I am eager to start baking pies and the only pie I know is Banoffee. Does anyone know any good easy recipes to start with? And are there any tips on how to make the perfect pie?

I am salivating right now just at the thought of it.

ps. Isn't Anna Friel the cutest? I first saw her on a made for TV movie called "Perfect Strangers" on HBO starring herself and Rob Lowe yonks ago and I fell in love with her instantly. She is so adorable! I have been searching for the movie but can't find it anywhere! I can't download or rent it either. Has anyone watched it? No one else I know has watched it though and I don't think it got good reviews but I loved it.

Hope everyone's having a lovely Sunday! Loves.

  6. Hi Sal, I loved Pushing Daisies too and I'm so sorry they took it off. I really miss it! My mom made awesome pies but I'm sorry to say she is no longer with us. I will look through her recipe box and see if she had any recipes in there. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Nan
