life is good~

Life IS good and you know it! :)

Jamie from Inspired Mess received this award today and she has passed it on to her readers (Thanks Jamie!) I accepted this award cos the questions that come with it are really interesting and hopefully after reading this my readers will learn a bit more about Miss Sal Zailani.

1.  What is your most favorite book of all time?

This is difficult to answer. I have read so many books which I love so I can't choose just one. That would be so unfair. But I think the books I love most are probably the ones I read when I was a child. I love Enid Blyton books and I read ALL her books. The ones which are my top favourite would be "The Faraway Tree" series.  And my non-Enid Blyton fave is "Are you there God? It's me Margaret."

2.  What is a memory from childhood that you remember more than anything else?

My parents divorced when I was 5 and my sister and I were brought up by our dad. He took care of us really well. I remember one Valentine's Day, my dad brought me and my sister out for a Valentine's Day dinner. I was 7 and my sister was 3. It was so lovely, we dressed up in pretty dresses and when we got to the restaurant our table had a heart-shaped red balloon with my dad's name on it. I thought it was one of the prettiest things I have ever seen. It is one of the most happiest moment of my life.

3.  What did you want to be when you grew up, or what DO you wanna be?

I wanted to be a lot of things. The first career I thought of was to be a librarian because I figured it is the only way I can read all the books in the library without having to leave for many hours. My mum brought me to the library at the tender age of three and I loved it so much.

4.  What is the most spontaneous thing you've ever done?

Flying to England to see Stuart in 2008. I met him when he went to Brunei for a 4 day holiday. He was there to visit his bestfriend from uni who was my bestfriend's cousin. So we all hung out. Then after he left I added him on facebook and we talked everyday for a few months. One day he asked me if I wanted to go see him in England. I said sure and off I went. It was supposed to be a two week holiday but I stayed for a month. Four months later I moved to the UK to live with him and here we are, still together and still very much in love.

5.  If you had one chance, would you go back in time for the day, or into the future for the day?

Future definitely. I would like to see if I am happy and living my dream, if I see that I am not maybe I could do something in the present to change that.

6.  Do you collect anything, and if so, what inspired you to do so?

I am not much of a collector but recently after joining postcrossing I have started on collecting arty postcards.

7.  Do you talk to yourself or sing in the car when you drive, or do you sit in silence?

all of the above. I talk to myself when I am angry about something, sing when I am happy and sit in silence when I am worried.

8.  Is there anything you wish you could change about yourself?

I wish I believed in myself more.

9.  What superhero special power would you most like to possess?

Teleportation please! oh and maybe Telekinesis for when laziness strikes.

10.  What was the last thing that made you giggle hysterically?

yesterday at the Barbeque. We had a lot of fun. One of Stuart's friend was telling a few funny stories and they were hilarious! i would love to tell you but i really shouldn't repeat them :)

That was fun! I would love to know more about my readers so I am passing this to everyone who reads my blog as well. Please let me know once you have done so. I am eager to get to know all you better :)

much love.
